"This year approximately fourteen hundred passengers were entertained by The Dolls during their trip back in history to 1942, and The Dolls, dressed in period military-style attire, added to their experience. Post cruise comment cards repeatedly expressed the passengers' absolute delight with The Manhattan Dolls...When not performing, The Manhattan Dolls met with the passengers, many of whom are military service or veterans. Their willingness to pose for pictures was a very appreciated personal touch. Our “Salute to our Vets” would not have been complete without The Manhattan Dolls and a trip down memory lane with songs from the 30’s & 40’s.
